This Notebook explores the topic of Big Cats by integrating Science and Technology, HSIE, English and Mathematics outcomes. It looks at the features of this class of amazing animals, and the environmental issues associated with the endangerment of some species. The unit then looks closely at information reports and language used for communicating information. It concludes with a design project for students to create the ‘Ultimate Tiger Enclosure’.
